The 8 Wt fly rod is built on a fast action 4 piece blank. The blank color is a beautiful matt black, these rods were designed with sight fishing or presentation to saltwater species in mind. REC titanium black pearl double foot stripper or butt guides, and REC single foot black pearl snake guides make for an extremely light fly rod. All the components are dark in color and non reflective.  The rod is finished with a full wells cork grip, black aluminum reel seat, and a fighting butt.

Use:

The 8 WT Fly Rod was designed for sight fishing to saltwater species in shallow clear water with floating fly lines. The 4 piece design is nice for travel as the rod broken down will easily fit in a vehicle or in the overhead compartment of an airplane. The rod has proven effective for fishing Intermediate and fast sinking fly lines up to 300 grains. This 8 WT performs well in multiple fishing situations, but the rod excels when short quick loading casts are important. The rod has proven effective for Bonefish, Stripped Bass, Bluefish, Red Fish, Black Drum, Bonito, Spotted Tunny, and Snook.
